Terms of Service

Effective 12 June 2026

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using Leide (the “Service”, operated by Singularity Engineering AS) you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service for an organization, you confirm you’re authorized to bind it.

2. The Service

Leide extracts data from engineering drawings, checks drawing completeness against standards, and answers standards/engineering questions.

3. Engineering-advisory disclaimer — please read

The Service is a decision-support tool, not a substitute for professional engineering judgment, independent verification, or formal certification/approval. Extraction results, completeness checks, and navigator answers may be incomplete or incorrect and must be reviewed and verified by a qualified engineer before being relied upon for any design, fabrication, inspection, safety, or compliance decision. Leide does not provide engineering, legal, or certification services and is not liable for decisions made in reliance on its output.

4. Accounts and trials

You’re responsible for your account and credentials. Trials may have usage limits and may change or end.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • upload content you have no right to use;
  • reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Service;
  • use it to break the law or infringe others’ rights;
  • attempt to exceed the access you have been granted.

6. Intellectual property

  • Your content stays yours. You grant Leide a limited license to host, process, and display your drawings and data solely to provide the Service to you.
  • Leide’s platform, software, and standards knowledge base remain Leide’s property. Standards texts referenced in the navigator belong to their respective publishers; the navigator provides guidance, not the standards themselves.

7. AI output

Output is generated with AI and provided “as is” without warranty of accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose. See the engineering-advisory disclaimer (§3).

8. Fees

Where paid plans apply, fees, billing, renewals, and cancellation are described at sign-up. Billing is handled by our payment processor.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Leide is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from reliance on the Service’s output, and Leide’s total liability is limited to the greater of the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim or USD 100.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Leide against claims arising from your content or your misuse of the Service.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate at any time. On termination your access ends and your data is handled per the Privacy Policy’s deletion section.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Norwegian courts.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms; continued use after the effective date means you accept the changes.
